Multicriteria Decision Aiding (MCDA) is an area of Operations Research that provides a methodological structure for the treatment of complex decision-making problems with multiple conflicting assessment criteria. Currently, robust analysis have been used to find a more precise solution within the methodologies of MCDA. For this reason, the objective of this work is to present an overview of this topics with a bibliometric analysis approach. Scopus and Web of Science databases are the two main sources of this study. A large number of indicators is presented to provide relevant information about journals, authors, countries, institutions, among others. The results highlight Kahraman as the most productive author in the field and The United States stands out has the leading country in this area of research. The association of this topics, in order to find a more desirable solutions have contributed to the development of theories and applications, and this field has had an important growth in the last years.
