It is a configurable thermal processing reactor that allows a variety of geometrical arrangements to provide a wide range of operating conditions and effects on the productivity and composition of the products to be obtained. This reactor includes a reaction chamber and an internal vertical tree configuration with multiple fixing positions along its length. Each fixing position can removably accommodate at least one support with a central perforation, secured through locking means.
Uses
This configurable reactor can be used for pyrolysis of lipid-derived carboxylates allowing the production of bio-propane, bio-butane and other light olefins. Its flexible design allows the proportion of heat transfer by conduction and convection to be adjusted, optimizing performance according to the desired product.
Benefits
Configuration Flexibility: The reactor can be adjusted to balance the proportion between conduction and convection to suit the desired product type.
Heat Transfer Optimisation: It allows efficient heat transfer, improving pyrolysis processes compared to fixed design reactors.
Versatility in Production: It adapts to different operating conditions, favouring the production of a wide range of pyrolysis products.
Performance and Quality Improvement: It overcomes the limitations of traditional reactors, providing greater control and optimisation in the products obtention.
