PATENTSCOPE
The technology consists of a bioremediation method, which uses a strain of Pseudoma aeruginosa, isolated in the BiobĂo region, which is used for wastewater treatment, fulfilling discharge standards. The technology allows the removal of dyes, degradation of oil and its derivatives, treatment of effluents containing Arsenic III and Lignin.
Uses
The designed method can be used in wastewater from the textile industry, cellulose industry, oil industry and mining industry.
Benefits
It lowers the industry's operating costs.
It aids in the recovery of treatment plants due to the addition of a bacteriological compound.
It reduces the amount of polluting sludge produced in the treatment plants.
Concerning the traditional physical and chemical methods, it is a process that is cheaper and more environmentally friendly which, being a natural process, is usually very well accepted by public opinion.
Baja los costos de operaciĂłn de la industria.
Technological Offer
Technology is available for licensing.
Development status
TRL 7, since it has semi-industrial tests validated in a real-operational environment, well integrated with other systems. The technology has been validated at a laboratory scale for the treatment of wastewater with bacteria in pelagic or biofilm form for the removal colour and COD of effluents from cellulose, textile, fishery and petroleum-derived organic compounds.
